The Canada Immigration Express Entry Program is highly popular and streamlined immigration system. Launched in January 2015 to attract skilled workers from around the globe to become permanent residents of Canada. Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)
It is a point-based system to rank candidates based on their age, education, work experience, command of English and/or French, and other factors. The higher a candidates score, the better their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency.
Federal Economic Immigration Categories
Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
This program is for skilled workers having foreign work experience who are willing to live and work in any Canadian province/territory, except Quebec.
Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
This program is for skilled tradespeople with work experience in a qualifying trade occupation who intend to live and work in any Canadian province/territory, except Quebec.
Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
This program is for individuals having Canadian work experience, such as international graduates or temporary foreign workers and are willing to transition to permanent residency.
Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
In this program Provincial governments and territories can select individuals from the Express Entry pool. If nominated, it results in additional CRS points.
Regular Draws and Invitations to Apply
Regular draws are held by the Canadian government where individuals having highest CRS points are issued Invitations to Apply for permanent residency. If a candidate has received an ITA, limited time is given by the Canadian government to submit your application.
Time-Efficient Process
The Express Entry is faster and more efficient where most of the applications are processed within six months.
